FOLK AND DAGGER
This edition the Dagger outweighs the Folk but it's a Thursday and we want at least one person doing tequila slammers at the bar!
WILL ROBERT has become one of F&D's firm faves with his mellow complete vocal that pulls you effortlessly along in a spell of stories. We feel pretty damn lucky to have the wild dramatic pop of VEROA (Ireland) serious musicianship, heavy hooks and a playful attitude. JIM JOHNSTON will be showing us where the niftiness of the kinks, the intelligence of bowie and the choruses of 60's classic rock overlap. We are thrilled to present TONOCHROME's first show! They are sublime and something i can genuinely call new. Like a complex and raw fabric they use textures acoustic and electronic to create something more progressive than pop with subtle muse and beck flavours. bloody marvellous. check em out. To 'take it home' we have THE ID who combine their love of 70's post punk with their artistic ideals as the glue...
