HOG RECORDS PRESENTS:
TRENCHTOWN ROCK with NEW KID IN TOWN His influences are mostly songwriters - the likes of Neil Young, Rolling Stones, Jack Johnson and Donavon Frankenreiter are among his favorites. Playing a very special set, a jazz revisitation of his forthcoming debut album “Days & Nights”, line-up includes Thodoris Ziarkas (Double Bass) Rowan Porteous (Trumpet) and Terry McGowan (Drums). Each song on "Days and Nights" goes in a different direction, yet the whole album has a unique distinctive voice, where many different elements (from jazz to rock, reggae and blues) merge into a new style. NOW I SEE BEES I WON 'now i see bees i won' blend a fine mix of world and folk music with the epic sensibilities of post-rock, grunge and progressive rock, shot through with moments of gentle ambience and mathematical madness, weaved underneath poetic lyrics delivered with soft vocals and lavish harmonies...." URBAN FOXES Urban Foxes is music collective spearheaded by songwriter/producer duo iKon and Freddy. Although the foundation of their music is essentially hip hop, the influences of rock, drum’n'bass, dub step, funk, jazz, reggae and R&B are undeniable. DIRT DIGGERS After recording a two-track single at Toe Rag studios with producer Liam Watson (The White Stripes), Dirt Diggers have now self-released and produced their first EP which will feature in a series of releases and eventually form their debut album. After a year of developing their sound on the London live circuit, the band have developed a visceral and vicious sound that has been compared to the early days of The Birthday Party by The Music Press. Tickets: £5
