The London Dirthole Company/ The Witches/ Fish Tank/ A Number of Young Lovers/ Tolerance Manoeuvre
You are cordially invited to join us for a big 'belly rumblin'. Yessireebob, its gonna be a hoedown.
We will have a few charcoal shadows thrown in, with the Tolerance Manoeuvre - a picture of Elliott Smith drifting around a black sea. Next them Young Lovers'll choc full of garage-rock's spirit, post-punk's balls, artistic melodies & dreamy hopeful romance that catches on like a yawn. Then, Fish Tank who seem to colour in every frequency over the course of a song! Citrussy, highlife-y guitar, cheeky curious bass, & big Yeah Yeah Yeah style drums. Think Foals meets Faith No More. The next band are the sound of sweet sweet psychedelic rebellion, a high voltage Doors-esque outfit and fun fun fun. Last are the incredible people that make up LDC! With a taste & a gift for extremes, its music that never sleeps! Gritty, wonky, huge, brutal, sensitive, unpredictable, thrilling Rock music. For fans of the Fall, The Velvet Underground and drinking! ~ The London Dirthole Company ~ ~ The Witches ~ ~ Fish Tank ~ ~ A Number of Young Lovers ~ ~ Tolerance Manoeuvre ~ Ticket: £6 / £4 adv
