KIRSTEN JOY

If you’d sung with Gary Barlow and Beverley Knight, performed in front of the Queen and supported Girls Aloud, you’d be forgiven for settling for that. But Kirsten Joy wants more. In her Blind Audition on The Voice UK, Kirsten brought some JOY to the coaches with her rousing rendition of ‘Heaven’ by Emile Sande. The performance tickled Jessie J’s fancies and she thusly bagged herself a spot on Team Jessie. As a backing-singer and member of the ACM Gospel Choir, Kirsten has bags of experience of performing on the big stage, but this is her time to shine on her tod. After kicking-off her Voice journey in impressive fashion, Kirsten hopes she’s destined for a career in the solo spotlight – like her mates Beverley Knight and the Queen. After having been on The Voice UK and interviewed by Fearne Cotton on Radio One, Kirsten Joy is currently working with producer Trevor Horn on her debut release.
