Hot Vox @ Underbelly
Underbelly stages Hot Vox's midweek dip into musical decadence with 5 of their most lip smacking bands. A diabetic coma of sound... You have been warned. The Hamelins The Hamelins are a 4 piece band, based in Kent hitting the south east with their high energy, retro inspired sound. Formed in August 2011 band members Timothy Wilcox (vocals and guitar), Adam Buckley (bass), Anthony Mace (drums) and Ione Bruce (vocals and keys/guitar). Caravaggioverdrive With the departure of talismanic lead guitarist Danny Byrne, The Raphaelites disbanded, but now, having gotten over the break-up, the remaining three have reformed as Caravaggioverdrive. Kid Kasio Inspired by a school visit from 80s perm sporting, synth maestro Paul Hardcastle, he begged for a keyboard for his eleventh birthday and was dually rewarded with the Casio SK-1, a keyboard with a whole three seconds of sampling capacity! Just enough to sample a burp and playback Axel F entirely in belches to the hilarity of friends and family. The Queens Road They formed from the ashes of a burnt down city, one with a striking resemblance to London, but not quite as culturally brilliant. Engine Tickets: £6
